What makes this product more cost effective?
Because you add your own oil (which will cost you approximately .60 cents), you pay much less than you would a pre-made product. We don’t skimp on the quality of our ingredients, therefore you get the best tasting end product.
What kind of oil do you recommend?
Any neutral oil is great; we prefer anti inflammatory oils such as olive oil & avocado oil.
How long can I keep the chili crunch once mixed with oil?
It can be kept on your counter for up to a week / refrigerate up to 2 months.
If I don’t have a thermometer , how can I tell if oil is right temperature?
Throw a pinch of chili crunch mix into heated oil, when it sizzles without burning it is ready.
Can I add less oil to make a denser product?
Yes! You can add 1/3 of a cup oil instead. We like to add 1/2 cup of oil because we use the excess oil to fry eggs & use to stir fry vegetables and meats.
